Our 2007 show was called Magic Windows and was reminiscent of the days when our parents took us downtown to see the big window displays in the department stores. Since many children of the Big Island are not familiar with this tradition we decided to see if we could recreate this feeling of wonder for the children and nostalgia for the adults. So in collaboration with the Minihunes Miniature Club and the East Hawaii Train Group we presented a show called Magic Windows which opened Friday, Dec. 7th , 2007. We chose storybooks, fairy tales and nursery rhymes as our main inspiration for the displays but the theme is still Christmas and Winter Holidays.
