MAUI PEACE MURALS PROJECT

The Maui Peace Murals project was conceived and coordinated by Sherri Carden as a way to network arts and the environment with the community. The Community Workday Program Program, Keep America Beautiful, the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation, Lahaina Arts Society and the children of the community all worked together to beautify these areas and discourage graffiti. All of the titles are from the Baha'i Writings.
